We had a bumper crop of sunflowers this year. They are in our side yard and can be seen from the street. I didn't plant any they all self-seeded. The birds love them. The bees love them. I love them. I'm leaving the remains of them there to feed the birds over the winter and I hope next year we'll have another bumper crop.
You should save some seeds; we could have a seed swap! The photos are great.
ReplyDeleteA gift from the breeze, the birds and the bees! They are gorgeous! That's my kind of gardening. LOL!

How fun, nice when something so pretty comes without any work!
ReplyDeleteI love that they are self seeded...I always pull mine out when they start to die...Next year I am leaving them and letting them self seed!
