I was supposed to be doing laundry, ironing, and cleaning house. I was supposed to be helping the mister finish up the guestroom in the basement and washing my car. I was supposed to be making 10 more quilt squares and planting 100 tulip bulbs in the front yard. Instead I was making a big mess and playing with paper mache. It was so much fun!

Did I mention it was so much fun?

Once I got started, I couldn't stop.

Have you been over to see
Joli-Paquet? All month long they're posting festive holiday ideas, recipes, and crafts. Almond truffle recipe today, these snow people a few days ago. It's a lot of fun and more than a little addicting.
I'll take one of each! Too cute!
ReplyDeleteOh My Gosh! Those are amazingly adorable!
ReplyDeletereally cute, no wonder you could not stop!
ReplyDeleteThey're so cute. I didn't know you could make small things with paper mache.
ReplyDeleteI am the master of not doing what I'm supposed to. Like right now not bathing the kids and myself for church while their dad's home teaching. Or spending the 5 hours necessary to clean out our van.
I need to go paper mache something.
Those snow people are so cute!
ReplyDeleteOh My Goodness...be still my heart. Those are the cutest things ever, Mimi!!! I am so excited to try some now. Thank you, thank you for the link.
ReplyDeleteAnd, what a great idea about the light fixture. It turned out perfect for the new room.
Have a great week,
Mary Lou
That is so cute! I'm going to have to show my daughter. She's been working in paper mache for about two months now in her art class. She could make me something - those are so adorable!
