I love turkey platters. I found this one at a thrift store for a couple of dollars.
I bought this one at an antique store years ago.
This one is from Pottery Barn but I bought it at a yard sale. Of course you get the best deals on Thanksgiving stuff at the thrift stores around Easter.
This turkey plate is a calendar from 1911. Love it.
The window boxes are all decked out for fall.
The goat cart too.
I hope all of you are spending some time with the people you love this wonderful holiday. I'll be baking and cooking, cleaning and fluffing for the rest of this week. Things I love to do to get ready for a holiday I love.

Sounds like we are doing the same things this coming week! Our gang is all coming too, my food is in the house, now the cooking begins! My husband has a large family so my mother in law's table will be full. I will be bringing the stuffing and sweet potato casserole. Hope you have a wonderful holiday.

I like Thanksgiving for that reason, too. I love your pumpkins in the window boxes. And the goat cart--is it the same one Sis. Kenard had in her antique store a long time ago she wanted to sell for $3000? It's cute. My kids would turn it into matchsticks. ;)
ReplyDeleteI defintely want to keep my lanterns up, but I need to take them down when the weather's bad--one broke in half (the ice inside was too heavy) right when the mailman was walking past it. Lucky us, he didn't get hurt.
