Neighbor Gifts

THIS is why I worry about neighbor gifts.
Cute box with a glitter house, trees, and deer.

With cookies.

Thank you Barbara and Ray! (Neighbors that live around the corner)

  1. Looks like the neighbors thought of what YOU would love...the box says JOY, you'll just have to enJOY your most adorable sparkly house and cookies! Neat neighbors...still want to move into your neighborhood.

  4. That box is a gift in itself. You have some very creative neighbors, and then you get to enjoy the cookies too! Thanks for your sweet comments to my husband on his birthday. I read them all to him and he loved them.
    Blessings,

  5. The box is a gift in and of itself! The cookies look sooooooo yummy! But Sue, don't you dare worry! :-)

Our snow was wet and heavy too...and what I didn't post was that my BIL who was visiting,( and felt soooooooooo bad for doing it......) pulled me out while I was gone, and he acc pulled my power steering line off.......So I had to take my car up to the shop and get it fixed before I could drive it! Our good friend owns his own repair shop, and he was so kind and sweet and fixed it Monday so that I wouldn't be carless for long! I got stuck yesterday in my DD's driveway again! I was so bummed! I was in the process of shoveling myself out when a neighbor came alone and helped me! My son came later and plowed it......yikes! I think I have forgotten how to drive in the snow! Where has that Rexburg Idaho driver gone to I wonder? LOL
We just haven't had snow like this for ever!

  6. How delightful Sue! Maybe you know the answer to this because you haven't been in UT for a really long time. Are neighbor gifts just a Utah thing? Or do people do this everywhere?

  7. Wow--that's the mac-daddy of neighbor gifts. This year, we gave out jam without cutesifying the jars and the labels scotch taped on. Sacrilege. I even gave people freezer jam because I didn't make near enough cooked/canned. It's okay. I have more freezer space now for the-kids-are-so-naughty-today-cookie dough.
