This will give us much needed space when our family gets together. Last week the mister framed up the walls and installed the rough electrical stuff. This week we are working on the insulation.
I feel like I have fiberglass in all my pores.
Drywall's next.

My dad was an engineer for a fiberglass company. Once in awhile he'd get home at night and he'd say not to hug him because he'd been out in the factory and he had fiberglass on him. I was so afraid of that stuff as a child. There aren't many basements here, I'll bet you're glad to have one living there.

ReplyDeleteVery exciting! I remember our remodel 10 years ago. I was excited just to see the framing go up! By the time drywall was painted I was decorating!

Looks as though you have been busy Mimi Sue, I would so love to have a basement, family room, but here in the south very few homes have basements. I am looking forward to you giving us a tour when yours is completed, I know your family will share many wonderful memories.
