The Last of the Zinnias

There's snow on the mountains and close to freezing temperatures at night
which means the zinnias are done for the year.

Yesterday I picked all that I could and brought
them into the house where we can enjoy their cheerful colors.

At least for a few more days.

  2. I'm sad to see the zinnias go, too! None left here with hard frosts already...and today I was lamenting the unopened flower heads in the garden. It will have to be next year now!

  3. Oh .. they are so pretty.
We have a skiff of snow on the mountians.... and I know winter is on the way.

Enjoy those last summer flowers :)

Yes.. I used the good ol' hot glue gun to glue the apple wood stems onto the pumpkins. Works like a charm.
