There's snow on the mountains and close to freezing temperatures at night
which means the zinnias are done for the year.
Yesterday I picked all that I could and brought
them into the house where we can enjoy their cheerful colors.
At least for a few more days.
I love zinnias, and never got any planted this year... yours are lovely!
ReplyDeleteI'm sad to see the zinnias go, too! None left here with hard frosts already...and today I was lamenting the unopened flower heads in the garden. It will have to be next year now!
ReplyDeleteOh .. they are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteWe have a skiff of snow on the mountians.... and I know winter is on the way.
Enjoy those last summer flowers :)
p.s
Yes.. I used the good ol' hot glue gun to glue the apple wood stems onto the pumpkins. Works like a charm.
Hello......sad to see them go but nice to enjoy the Zinnias in the house.....so pretty.....Blessings Francine.
ReplyDeleteI love your header! The Zinnias are very nice too!
