The Mister and I took a little road trip to our neighbor to the north, Idaho.
We camped at a very interesting place called Craters of the Moon National Monument.
We met some friends there and had a great time.
There were lava flows and lava rocks and we walked on sharp lava gravel.
We saw lots of rocks.
Piled up rocks...
Walls of rocks...
A couple of trees growing out of rocks...
And then some more rocks.
It was a fun trip with our friends.
We learned a lot about the geology of the region.
We can say we've been there.
And we don't ever have to go again.
Evening, really interesting pictures, so neat, Blessings Francine.
ReplyDeleteI'm an Idaho girl and I have never been there! Glad you had fun.
ReplyDeleteDid you walk through any of the lava tubes? Did you see any rock climbers? That's a fun area.....
