I thought to myself I really wouldn't be joining in on the fun P.O.O.P.I.E. party over at the Nester's since I really didn't have anything faux in my home. Then I started walking around my house and in every single room I found at least one thing that would qualify. So here goes.Flowers...

ReplyDeleteAre those strawberries fake? They sure look real to me! I have fake stuff too and I like it. You keep yours simple and tasteful, like I do too hopefully! I use hot glue when recovering lampshades. I have some spray adhesive, but don't like the mess it makes so I very rarely use it on projects. Ofcourse, using a hot glue gun makes a mess too with all those strings of dried glue everywhere! I use self-adhesive shades a lot and also old shades I get at garage sales. I'll try to get a tutorial together and do it Friday. Thanks for the idea!

ReplyDeleteI was just looking at some Faux fruit today, but I nixed the idea, from so many people saying they have teeth marks in their fruits! Do your Strawberries have teethmarks?
