Little Bouquets
I'd rather have several little bouquets than one large one. In the winter, when I have no flowers in the garden, I like to buy a few stems of a single type of flower. Carnations last a long time and have a spicy scent so they're one of my favorites. I bought these at the grocery store for $3.00. Then I spread them around. A couple in a little vase by my kitchen sink...

I like when they have daisy mums too. They have no smell but they're cheerful. I need to go get some flowers today. I wonder if my little destructos will leave them alone?
ReplyDeleteThat's a great price for flowers. Those look so nice. I took my leftover roses from Valentine's day and separated them and cut the stems short and put them in two different vases. I love flowers!!!

ReplyDeleteCarnations do give you a lot of bang for the buck. I never thought of scattering them into little vases all about. That's a neat idea, and I always have lots of little vessels that would make perfect little vases!
