I spent a little time at our local thrift store last week. I found a few treasures.

Got the birdcage painted. I have a cute idea for the plaque. It involves decoupage.

I can't resist plates.

Or something to hang them with.

I loved this little baskety thing. Is this made out of aluminum?

Someone had dropped off boxes of gardening, decorating and crafting books. I took a few home with me.

A pretty good day at the thrift store.
I would say that was an excellent day at the thrift store.
ReplyDeleteYou found some great things. I wish our thrift stores had something other than just junk. I love the bird cage.
ReplyDeleteYou are so sweet to offer our family a place of refuge!
ReplyDeleteBless you sweet heart:-) Thank You!
It looks like you found some treasures at the thrift store and the birdcage looks so whimsically beautiful!
:-)
I love it all, but especially the "new" pink birdcage!!! Great choice!
ReplyDeleteI also loved the "fieldtrip" to the darling shop the three of you went to recently. My mouth fell open when I saw the green bed pieces with pink plaid fabric. Be still my heart. : )
I wish my thrift store would get some pretties in. I love what you found.

I've never been good at thrift shopping. Maybe you need to teach me your secrets. There is a fun place in Bountiful, almost to Woods Cross, I can't remember what it's called. I loved your post below, my mom has told me I need to check that store out!
ReplyDeleteI gotta hit some thrift shops with a little imagination. I never see the potential of stuff clearly. Oh and if you figure out that self-cleaning house thingie...PLEASE share it with me....I could sure use it!
ReplyDeleteLove the Pink!!! yup, I pretty sure I need to come shopping to your house! LOL!!! ♥ Lewaina
