Crock Pot Cake
This cake is pretty darn good. You bake it in a crockpot. So if your oven is full of something else, like a roast or whatever, you've got a place to make dessert. 
It's also a great way to save a little energy and no frosting is needed. We love it served with vanilla ice cream.

Awww, I love crockpot cooking; now I can make dessert, too. When I was single, I moved and had no money to remodel my kitchen, so I cooked in crockpots for almost a year.
It sounds really good, and easy. I'm all for easy.
I use my crock pot a few times a week...I love it...but never thought you could bake a cake in it...What did it look like?

Sheesh, you and your daughters are creative. I'm way behind in blogging (a major first) and saw all your daughters' birthday party decorating. That garland for the one-year-old party is so dang cute and I only wish I were creative enough to think up the 5-yr-old's party. It's probably because their mom is so creative.
Can you be my surrogate mom? (Just don't tell my real mom--she's creative, too, we're just not very...motivated or...efficient, so most of the creativity stops at the big idea phase.)
