Thanksgiving Dishes

Before we go completely into Christmas mode I want to show you my Thanksgiving dishes. I found the first five at a thrift store. I found the rest on ebay. I have about fifteen dinner plates and a gravy boat plus a few small bowls and bread plates.

They're called Indian Summer by Franciscan. I just love them.

I think they look really cute with these miss matched napkins that I made.

  1. I have never seen that pattern! They are perfect for autumn and Thanksgiving and they would look great with those pretty napkins:>)

  2. Awesome! At first I thought that was the old fashioned melmac...they are "your" style for sure.
Matching plates are always fun to collect.

  4. I love your dishes! And the mis-matched napkins are the frosting on the cake. Unfortunately, our hostess served dinner on paper plates - not so nice!

  5. Mimi, I love your dishes and you are so cool to make your napkins. I never think of that.

Are we on for this Friday? Meeting at "Just a bed of Roses" at 11:00 o/clock - then any where we want. Lunch next door?

  7. I like those "fall" dishes. I have the Desert Rose pattern by Franciscian that got handed down to me from my mom. I use them for every day dishes, but they don't go too good for Thanksgiving, lol.

  8. I'm trying to catch up on blogs and not leave comments so I can see everything everyone has done. But I can't not say "ooohhhhh" when I saw these dishes. They are so lovely I said it out loud.
