It was a rainy, rainy day yesterday so we took a little field trip to IKEA. This was in the fabric department in black, aqua, yellow and as you see, red. Sixty inches wide and a cross between oil cloth and a vinyl tablecloth. $7.99 a yard.

I have a few little projects in mind for this beauty. I thought you might like this
Princess Lisa.
So cute...I saw a gal that made pillow covers out of this for her patio pillows. Come say hi :D
ReplyDeleteYou know I love red and white dots! I can't wait to see what you make. (Note to self: get to Ikea!)
ReplyDeleteThe possibilities are endless! Can't wait to see what you decide to do with it!
ReplyDeleteI love polka dots...never get tired of them..nope! I also love Ikea...I may have to skip on out there this weekend. Can't wait to see what you create with this fun stuff!

Oh I wish I knew you were going. I would have had you get me some. I love it. So cute! I want to cover my cushions for my deck with something like that.
ReplyDeletePolka dot heaven for Mimi!
ReplyDeleteOkay, I TOTALLY HATE Ikea, because I can't get the H out of the maze and start to feel claustrophobic. BUT...FOR RED AND WHITE POLKA DOT OIL CLOTH...well, let's just say this princess is willing to come down out of her tower and head on over. Mimi, our hearts are knit together in love for polka.
ReplyDeleteCute! I can't wait to see your projects! I want to get some seersucker and make napkins like I saw in the latest Martha Stewart's Living magazine!

Mimi this material reminds me of my bedroom when I was in high school. White wall paper with big black polka dots. My bedstread was black material with big red and yellow flowers and medium white polka dots. My sheets and pillow case were, white with small black polka dots. I love that room, and I love all dots too.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see what you make, and can I have one? Wouldn't some bags be cute?
In June, we must get together. How about June the 7th or 8th?
