Look at these cute centerpieces my daughter #2 made for a little dinner she hosted. She needed to come up with something inexpensive so she started with a 4X4 inch piece of wood, cut into 6 inch lengths. She added plain scrapbook paper to 4 sides of the block of wood and polka dots
(Lisa!) cut from the same colors as the flowers.
She drilled some holes in the top of the wood block.
She cut a 4 inch circle into a spiral and pushed it out a little to form a flower. Then hot glued it so it would stay in the flower shape.

She hot glued some wire long enough to be a stem onto the back of the flower and then stuck the wire into the
predrilled holes.

I think they're so adorable. Wouldn't they be cute for a bridal or baby shower? How about a birthday party or use holiday paper for a holiday theme.

Way to go daughter #2!
