A Box Full of Chair

The Mister went to California and while the cat was away the mice
decided to play.  So I went to IKEA and brought home a big box full
of chair. 


Isn't it amazing how they figured out how to get a great big chair into a kind of small box.  Good job engineers!

I love it!  It was kind of fun putting it together without any supervision...

    WHITE? Very versatile color. Congrqats on doing the assembly - I know it can be a buggar to get it right!

    We bought the same chair when we visited the Draper Ikea last December. I too have the white slipcover as well as a beige one. I love Ikeas furniture it goes together so easily and quickly! Enjoy your new chair she looks great!

    What a cozy little spot and kudos to you for putting it together by yourself! I love Ikea...i always manage to spend more than I intended when I visit but their stuff is just so darn cute!
    Love your new washstand..I think it would be great painted white. I used to think it was sinful to paint solid wood but I have changed my opinion after seeing some of the amazing transformations on the design blogs out there!

    I think that my daughter has two chair like this and they are amazing. They are slipcovered and wash up beautifully. Hope you enjoy them.

    I applaud you at being able to put that together. It looks fabulous.
    I would start to hyperventilate at the mere thought of the chair in a box.
    I love letting husbands come home to "little surprises".

    Think I'm breaking the design rule of not having sets if I buy one or two of those when I already have the ektorp sofa? I'd get different slipcovers. I like yours--so jealous you can have white and it will stay that way. ;)

    Ikea is about an hour's drive from here, and I've often thought that I'd like one of these chairs but wondered how I'd get it home. A box, imagine that!
