A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth.Thomas S Monson

Two of Lorraine's Bedrooms
First, a peak at Lorraine's guest room. See those little crocheted dresses? They're in those pictures, on Lorraine when she was three.
She has a beautiful home filled with so much history. Each room and piece looks like they are full of stories. I am so glad you were able to take the pictures.
Just a beautiful home! Who wouldn't want to stay in that guest room? I would! The little dresses..how wonderful to still have them..a little treasure for sure. Thanks! Come say hi :D
Thank you so much for this tour Mimi. I can't remember who Lorraine is. The rooms are so cute and cozy and inviting. I absolutely love them. I am in the mood for cozy.
What a beautiful home. I went and checked out your last post about the outside too. I also like your header picture of your front porch with your banner over the walkway. Way to cute! ~Ann
Lorraine has a lovely home and has done a great job decorating. That master bedroom could be in the pages of Country Living for sure! The outside of the house and grounds are beautiful, too. It was nice that she allowed us all to come in.
Wonderful to see a bit of the past remianing. I for one love how she particular placed each items to bring the attention and interest to the rooms.. I'd like to visit too. Kristeen kandgough@gmail.com.

LOve her bathroom, its simple and elegant.
I really like Lorraine's home. It looks like a magazine photo shoot. Beautiful.
Now, I have the same question as Mercy...where is the junk? lol.
So pretty, can't you get her to start blogging?
