The mister and I took a little road trip last week. We wanted to see some parts of Utah that we haven't seen before. We were not disappointed. We started out driving through a little corner of Wyoming. Montana isn't the only state that has big sky.We stopped here for a little history lesson. We saw some gorgeous scenery. Pictures just don't do it justice. Truly awe inspiring.
We found a great place to camp and put the boat in the water.
Some man-made wonders.
Stayed in a cute little bed and breakfast. It was originally a Baptist church.

How fun to see your pictures of my neck of the woods! :-)
Come back to Ft Bridger during labor day week end and see it again.
Sometimes driving over sheep creek we see some mountain goats, did you by any chance get to see any? I love road trips, good for what ails ya! LOL
Enjoy your week end

Fun times. It brought back good memories of trips we've taken when our kids were small. Thanks!
What a fun trip! My favorite part of Flaming Gorge is the float trip below the dam. And I've heard that the guy who 'invented' the hanging flower baskets in Vernal is a millionaire now!
I've never been to Vernal, but now I really want to go~if only to see the pink dinosaur and the petunias. Loved the headboard, too.
My husband and I are from Logan and we were just saying we haven't been to the Gorge since we were teenagers and we haven't been to Vernal since our boys were little and into dinosaurs...at least 20 years! We may have to take a detour the drive through the east side of Utah next trip up from AZ!
Looks like a fun trip!
Thanks for the comment on my little
high chair, Im going to use your suggestion
on the contact paper, I would have never
thought of that! I'll post an after pic when I
finish.
It looks like you had a great time. I loved those dinosaurs, especially that big pink one :-) All of the photos were great. 6000 ft sure makes a difference, doesn't it!
Blessings,
Marcia
In over 30 years of living in Utah our travels have taken us all over Utah I thought, yet we have never ventured to Flaming Gorge, or Vernal. I am glad you took so many beautiful pictures.
We too love to head off on raod trips and explore.

What nice scenery. It's good to get away every now and then.
This trip looks like a lot of fun! Beautiful area! Thanks for sharing it!
Hea, I've been to Vernal. Cool place. I've never seen that bed-n-breakfast. I love them! I'm so glad your hubby likes to stay in them, or, well, he will stay in them.
Let's get together before halloween. Let's go buy fun things to decorate for halloween. I had so much fun last year and you are such a good shopper. Let's combine it. I was at JustabedofRoses yesterday. The eye ball spoke to me. So I bought it, plus a big shinny spider.
Big hugs
cindy
