Thank you all for your kind words of sympathy. Your prayers and thoughts are so appreciated and have helped us with our grief. Rudy has left a little hole in our hearts. We know his kind soul has moved on to a better place that is free of pain and suffering. We miss him so much but life goes on.
I am on a committee for Festival of Trees that takes place the first week in December. It is a huge fundraiser for our local children's hospital. Millions of dollars are raised each year for health care costs for children that are in need of medical care and don't have health insurance. Christmas trees are decorated, donated and auctioned by individuals and corporations. There is a gingerbread house competition, Santa visits, kids crafts, fun food, and a big boutique.
Here are a couple of wool felt applique ornaments that I'm donating to the boutique this year.
So if you're in the Salt Lake City area Dec. 1st -4th come on over to the South Town Convention Center. It's a really fun activity for the family and it's for a great cause.

How lucky you are to work on that committee! I've always wanted to be in town for the Festival, but haven't managed it!
Hope you're continuing to feel better...hope your night is wonderful!

I LOVE the Festival of the trees...have entertained at it a few times. And then I love to walk around and look at every one of them! Have fun with all of it! :D
We did a grape vine tree a few years back~well, okay, 14 years ago. So just barely. :) My Aunt Mary used to be on committees and such. Wonder if you know each other, as she's from Kaysville, too. Last name Tarbet. Anyway, love the felt. One more reason to feel inferior to you. Thanks a lot.
So sorry to hear about your Rudy! I know how tough it is. I told my dog she can never die. Thanks for your kind word about my cat.
