Well, the weather is finally cooperating and we've had a few days of dry weather.
The temperature is still a little cool but perfect for moving rocks and mulching flower beds.
So we did.
The river rocks in front of the fence and the mulch should really cut down on the weeding this summer. Hopefully we'll have a few more days of spring before we settle in to the heat of summer.

Great idea with the river rocks, they look so nice against the fence.
Enjoy the weather, Mimi!

I am for anything that will cut the weeding..the rock looks great! :D
Isn't that about right, a few more days until sweltering? Last year, I recall it was frigid on the 4th of July, and turned inferno on the 5th. Good thing we have houses like yours to make us like living in Utah. :)
If it ever stops raining here I'll get some yard word done too! lol, Seeing your pretty yard makes me want to get out there and get busy:>)
It looks great! I love working out in the yard in the spring...
Isn't it nice to have some sunshine? Now, I just need a good weekend with no place to go!
I'm ready to pour concrete in my flower beds to cut down on the weeds! Yours look wonderful!
I love the river rocks. When I lived in Utah, we had a big back yard and I ended up doing a lot of "rock areas" to cut down on the weeding (since I was working full time)
I like the mixture.
That looks great, Mimi! I really do love your fence, it has such a sweet cottage feel!
The white picket fence is a perfect accessory for a home.
