Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Summer Project 2012 Begins

The weather has been so nice that we decided to start on Mimi's Cottage Summer Project of 2010, 2011, 2012.  The mister has been working on the sprinkler system and preparing the soil for hydroseeding our new lawn.  Last Saturday, (it was 70 degrees!!) the curbing guy came over and
installed some curbing to separate the lawn (when it gets planted) from some planting beds.

Today it's been raining cats and dogs and temperatures in the 30's and 40's.

There won't be any work done outside today. Or tomorrow.  Lots of mud and muck out there.

See, I told you it was raining cats and dogs!

Those summer projects can last forever. It will be nice for you to have a lawn. They are less work than keeping the weeds out. Good luck!
