It's been freakishly cold here in northern Utah the past week or so.
Dry, cold air and a high that holds the smog close to the earth for all
of us to breathe.
Then there's the altitude. We live at about 4500 feet. Not as much
oxygen in our air as in sea level air.
The mister and I caught a bad cold (flu?) right before Christmas.
We slept through most of the festivities. Coughing and fevers and aches and
more coughing. Which turned into bronchitis.
FINALLY feeling a little better.
But still coughing.
Sometimes I need something like this to happen so that I don't take
my usually good health for granted.
Lessons come in all shapes and sizes.

It has been so cold and that has meant indoor recess all week! I hope things clear up soon and get a little warmer. We have had some pesky illness, too. Must come with the bad air.
Hope you both will feel better soon, no fun at all.......keep warm and cozy, Francine.
Glad you are feeling better!
Blessings,
Lorilee
Glad to hear that you both are feeling a little better. Hope the cough goes away soon.

I'm sorry you missed the festivities! I'm glad you are both feeling better :) Maggie/Maggie's Lil' Fixins
Oh, I'm sorry that you guys got sick. No fun!!
I've heard that the gomboo is going around.
We too have been suffering with the bitter cold temperatures.
Our elevation is about 5800, and we live against the mountains.
I usually love it, and take the good with the bad.
However....this is too extreme.
Hope you continue to regain your health, and stay as warm as possible.
Warm wishes....
K.
Kansas has suffered from the colds/flu, too... you are not alone! We are just getting over it here, and glad to see the end of it!
There sure is a lot of that going around Sue - sorry that you caught it! I'm rarely sick either, and when I am it make me realize how fortunate I am!
Sue
Sorry to hear about your sickness! I know what you've been through, I just got over it myself!
