Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Garden Fun

Thank you all so much for the well wishes for the newlyweds. You are the best! Katie will read and enjoy every single one of your comments.

Yesterday was a day to recuperate from all the festivities. We took the borrowed chairs back to their owners, washed tablecloths, and put the family room furniture back where it belonged. We're almost back to normal. Whatever normal means.

I wanted to show you what came in the mail last week. I ordered this adorable little plant stake from Donna at Mourning Dove Cottage. Isn't it cute? I just love it. She has a few more cups and saucers and a couple of days ago she listed the cutest little birdhouses on stakes. They're too cute!

It looks so cute in my garden don't you think? Thank you Donna!

Hello Mimi Sue~That's a sweet tea pot to adorn your garden. Now that the festivities are over you can relax with a sip of tea while admirer your lil' garden stake.

I thought the water bottle pocket was such a nifty idea.
Thanks for sharing the idea.

Sweet wishes,
Sara
