A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth.Thomas S Monson

Wool Felt Appliqued Pumpkins
I can't seem to stop making things with wool felt. So fun, so easy, so cute. My latest project...
Way cute! Love the tags too! Are these for VT? They would be fun to give away. It's time for me to get my "Mimi" inspired Halloween banner on my porch! :-) Have a good one! Mercy
MIMI SUE - I love you!!! Ohh today was So much fun! And I have to tell you (before Lisa does - so that i win!) while we were driving to Kaysville I told her there was this lot that was a few down from LeConte's - and I always wanted to build a beautiful 2 story that was yellow hardi plank, black shutters and a red door. And then I told her how HAPPY I was when I realized the person who owned that lot BUILT THE HOUSE I WANTED TO! Made me SOOO proud!!!
Isn't that funny about the house Kara loved? We talked about you all the way home. What a hoot to have met that way. I look forward to returning, but with more time. Then we can chat, and I can buy. So wonderful to meet you, Mimi Sue!
Good Evening Mimi, I am out visiting tonight, and love your pumpkin appliques, beautiful stitchery. I also enjoyed your Sunday thoughts post, too.Mr Hope has always been a favorite of mine. The post on your Zinnias I especially enjoyed too they are one of my favorite flowers, and mine reseed each year, and I look forward to finding new ones too. I think one reason I enjoy them so much other than being so pretty is that when I was a little girl, my grandmother introduced me to them and helped me plant my first flower garden.
