Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. A Cute Little Monkey {Hat}

My darling friend Janis, from the Grams blog, crocheted this darling hat
 for one of our little monkeys.

She is sooo talented in sooo many ways.  Thank you so much Janis!
 Trying to take a picture of a squirmy two year old in a monkey hat is a bit tricky.

 Why does he need a nice warm hat you ask?

I love these hats...I just bought yarn to make one in a pale marled brown and pink for a baby granddaughter!

The hat and the "model" are adorable! In fact, when I saw the thumbnail on my blog I wondered how my Charlie ended up on your blog. Grandsons are so much fun!

I just noticed I forgot to put the ears on it. Oh Oh. I'll make them and either you or I can put them on.

I love the sock monkey hat! Darling, especially if you can get them to keep it on. My daughter has a Russian fur hat, and she wears it with church dresses. It's all about fashion and rules in my home. :)
