Due to a glitch with our lovely provider, we have been Internet free for eight days! Eight days people! I am really surprised how much I use the Internet and how much I missed it. I couldn't check my email, of course, or blog. No checking my bank balances, or paying bills, no finding phone numbers, or googling important information (like who was John Wayne's co star in Fort Apache). I had to actually try to find a recipe in a cookbook instead of online! It was a rough eight days but somehow I made it through. Thank you to daughter #2 for posting my Sunday Saying last Sunday. And thank you to the nice man at Qwest who finally figured out what the problem was and fixed it. It's so good to have it back.
Mimi Sue's Cottage
A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. I noticed your posts were missing from my Google Reader! Glad you're back!
It is funny how much we depend on this stuff, my iphone died yesterday and I have been without a phone almost a full day now, and I'm about to lose it!! Glad you are back, and that you survived!
We've become so dependent on our instant information and everything else haven't we!? Glad to hear you can get your internet fix now:>) lol

Welcome back to blogland - I totally understand the feeling of loss you've experienced, so don't feel guilty or bad!
Oh how we can't live without our internet access...
I went and purchased an iphone, so I can get my emails and internet access anytime, anywhere but not in church.....LOL
Hugs, Ann
I'm sorry, that's worse then having a historectomy.
I am with my hubby right now, we are headed to San Joes, going over Donners Pass. We are trying out the new DiFi. It works, I've been blogging all this way about 7000 feet. We stayed at Circus Circus last night. Talk about an out of body experience.
So glad your up and running.
big hugs

We do become dependent of our gadgets, don't we? We're all so guilty of this around here too. I'm sure the break was nice in it's own way, but it's nice to get back to a regular routine again too.
Blessings,
Marcia
I forgot to add...have a wonderful week! :-)
