Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Busy Week

It's been a busy week here at Mimi's Cottage. Along with maintaining our life, (laundry, cooking, cleaning, weeding, watering, etc.), we've been working on our shed, and getting ready for company. The sweetpeas and their parents will be coming for a visit next week. A friend from California is here now. But look what the mister got done....
It's not finished, but it's getting there!

The fence installers finally finished up yesterday. They (and we) have been held up because of the crazy rainy weather we've been having. It's been like living in the Pacific Northwest. Rain almost everyday for the past two weeks.

But we've been making some progress. Every little bit helps.

I really like the building your building. What is it going to be. Keep showing it's progression.

I'm just thinking of all the stuff you can fill that shed with! It is huge. Your fence looks great, too. Be thankful you are getting rain, we need it so badly!

Hi Mimi Sue,
Everything looks great, that is one great looking building!. You are really going to enjoy it! I agree just working a little at a time will get it done. I hope you have a great visit with your family. Blessings,

Aw man, naow I cannot peep into your backyard when we go by on walks--but the fence looks good. I wish we could put that, or at least wood, in front of all the hello-we-see-you chain link our neighbors have. Your shed looks awesome. Is your husband a natural pro? Does he do shed-building classes? Mine thinks we need another one in the back. I don't know why.
