Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Stacey

I'd like to say how sorry I am to hear about Stacey from The Thrifty Chick. I don't know if any of you ever read her blog but she was the thrift store/yard sale/scrapbooking queen. She had a stroke and passed away on July 14th. She leaves a husband and four young children, the youngest less than a month old. Her sister wrote a wonderful tribute here. Our thoughts and prayers are with her precious family. Go on over and leave a comment. I'm sure it will comfort her family in some small way.

When I visited her blog and read what her sister wrote, it just broke my heart. Her kids are so cute (I went back and looked at some of her old posts) and I feel so bad for them, as well as the rest of her family.

Sue do you know where stacey is from?
I just read her blog and that is the saddest thing ever.
We have a family close by us that the mother died same time frame and left 6 children two weeks after childbirth. It has got to be one of the hardest things ever in life.
I do know one thing for sure...that when I was traveling with the Tabernacle choir and hearing beautiful music everyday and being with the most loving close to God people I have ever been around that I knew heaven had to be the most wonderful place and that I would not ever be afraid to go there after feeling like I did.

Of course, her children are not raised...every mother wants to raise their children. Please let us know if you find out what town she is from or an email or some contact.
I guess a comment would be good too wouldnt it?
Oh, this just breaks my heart, thanks for letting us know.

Oh, I hate to hear of this tragedy. However, I know they will get through this because it was God's decision to take her home early and now he will provide a way for the family to go on. He always does.
Thanks for letting us know so we can pray for this little family.

When I scrolled down and saw the pictures of her darling little baby, I couldn't handle it. I always think it's so sad for a mom to die when her kids are so little, but I guess Heavenly Father knows better than we do, as hard as it is to remember. Gosh, that's one of my biggest fears.

This is such a tragic story. I pray for the Lord to give her family strength to go on.

I just read her blog, how tragic for those sweet little kids to lose their mom. She was such a talented girl with so much going on and was so young too. We just never know when our time is up.~Ann

How tragic, so sweet of her sister to post such a wonderful tribute. I just broke down when I saw the sweet faces of those darling children and read her earlier posts, so full of hope, energy and love. This reminds me how short and fleeting life can be, we should savor each moment. God bless Stacey's family.
