Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Sunday Sayings

"I am more and more convinced that our happiness depends far more on the way we meet the events of life than on the nature of those events themselves."

Wow--that's a good quote--makes you think a little too.

We took our pictures in the alley behind K-ville Theater--it's my favorite place. We always go to that red door at the south end. I love it. My parents tried to do their pictures down by the ballet school, and the man living there came and told them to leave and was a little ornery--as if he owned the alley, but whatever--I guess behind his house isn't the best spot right?

Glad you got the fudge--I'm always worried people won't see it. I've eaten most of our myself too. It's not hurting my feelings that my family doesn't get to it quick enough. ;)

What a wonderful saying. It's so true. I loved the vintage image too.

Another oh so true quote! You really can "see" the difference in peoples lives in just the way they handle what happens to them in life.
(OK, that didn't make much sense...)
However, It reminds me that I DO want to be a 'glass is half full' kind of person!
Enjoy your day.

Boy do I agree with you Mimi. I love that picture. That would be the neatest picture to have at Christmas time.

Let's start thinking about when we're going to get together again. I've missed you. Are you all organized for your new year?

Hugs
