Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Fast and Fun and Cheap Treats

Probably everyone in the country has made these fun little treats, but this was the first time I've made them and they were so much fun. I bought a bunch of these big candy bars, (10 for $10.00) at the grocery store...Took the outside paper wrapping off...
Used the wrapping as a template...

Used scrapbook paper for the new wrapper and decorated the heck out of them.

With stuff I already had.

I gave them to my friends. Think about how cute they'd be for Valentine's Day.

I've never done them, but they are adorable. I don't like the boxes of candy at valentine's, so a nice big bar of chocolate would be perfect!

Those are very cute. Good thing I didn't know those were on sale for that cheap or I might have a lot more than I'd better admit in my having-a-bad-mom-day stash.
