Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Happy Anniversary Sweetie

How did this happen? Where did the time go? It seems like only yesterday we were newly married with our whole lives ahead of us. Today we celebrate our 38th wedding anniversary. Gee, I guess I must've been one year old when we got married!

To all of you young wives and mothers out there I want to say try to live in the moment, enjoy every minute of your busy lives. Before you know it your kids will have kids of their own.

Man you are old. Actually it's your husband who is old. Why did you marry such an old man? Anyway, happy Anniversary to you today and us tomorrow.

Sue, You caught up with us! But in June Sue, we will be ahead again:-) Your wisdom is so true...where does the time go? Enjoy each and every moment and especially the over whelmed ones when the little ones need so much attention. I wish sometimes to just go back and savor it all for a day.... I think I forgot to savor all that laundry! LOL

Happy Anniversary!!! It is so true that time passes so quickly. My husband and I will celebrate our 23 wedding anniversary this year. And what amazes me even more is that our son is 18 and will graduate from high school this year. WOW
I hope you and your husband had a special day!!
