Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. I love that saying Mimi, can I use it? I will be working at Aunt Elsie's this Tuesday from 10 to 6. And I want to go to Brenda's this Thursday or Friday, can you go?

This saying packs a punch and I look forward to stopping in on Sundays to read the saying of the day. Now, YIKES! Valentine candy corn-are you kidding me? Who makes it? It is beautiful!! Joyce

HOW VERY TRUE, AND ESPECIALLY IF WE COMPARE OURSELVES TO OTHERS, OR OTHERS TRY TO PULL US DOWN AND WE LET THEM! :D

That's a great quote and so true, but I would NEED to hold back if I had that lovely candy sitting on my counter ;-)
