Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Giant Frame

I've been looking for a big, carved frame for quite a while.  We have a bare wall in our bedroom that was NEEDING a big, carved, empty frame and I finally found one at the Habitat for Humanity thrift store in Salt Lake City.  That place is amazing!  All kinds of neat junk at reasonable prices and the proceeds go to a great cause.
Anyway, it's big, 3' X 5'.   It's ornate carving is beautiful.  It was already painted black.
Pretty?  Why, yes it is.  It's also plastic. Gold plastic painted black.  Have you ever seen one this big?  I find them all the time at  thrift stores but they're 5X7 inches, not feet.
You should've seen Janis and Sue and I trying to fit this thing in Janis' car.  Hilarious!  Except for the part when we scraped some of the window tint off her back window:(

That frame is magnificent, and will make a great statement on your bare wall!

You should have said that you had to sit on it all the way home. Don't ever worry about the window tint because every time I notice it it gives me a good chuckle.
Are you still on for today?

Window tint is illegal, so you did her a favor. You must be a giver, just like me. :) Love the frame!
