Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Sunday Sayings

"True love requires action.  We can speak of love all day long, we can write notes or poems that proclaim it, sing songs that praise it, and preach sermons that encourage it, but until we manifest that love in action, our words are nothing but sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal."   Dieter Uchtdorf

Hi Mimi Sue,
I really like your saying for today. With Valentines Day coming up and all the talk about love this is a good thing to remember. It reminds me of what my mom always told us...Actions speak louder than words.
Hope you have a wonderful Sunday
Fondly,
Mimi

Because love IS a verb!
I enjoy the way Pres. Uchtdorf words things.
Enjoy your Sabbath.
