Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. So true...and so scary to do it, isn't it?! That's what faith is for, though...

Wishing you a beautiful Sunday, my friend!

That saying is very true. I try to remember that you have to go on faith sometimes! I also wanted to tell you that the colors in those flowers are so beautiful, makes me want to sit down and paint or make a quilt with those colors!

Wow. Talk about needing to have strong faith.

I love your words, Mimi. And by the way, I threw a bridal shower for a wonderful woman yesterday. She's had a hard life and over the past three years has turned it around completely, relying heavily on the Lord, and is now marrying a man in the temple. A wonderful day! I gave her a Christus statue I bought from Stewart's and she wept. And I thank you because you were my cashier that day. :)
