Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Decoupaged Easter Eggs

I decided to try decoupaging a plastic Easter egg last week.

Everyone seems to be doing it so I had to see if I could do it too.

I am really good at copying someone else's great idea.

That's my one talent.

It was fun to do.  I'd really like to try to make some with larger eggs.

I'd also like to make some eggs that are made by wrapping embroidery floss that's
been dipped in glue around an inflated balloon.  Have you seen them?
They're everywhere too.  What else can I copy?

Very sweet. Isn't it fun how different everyone's take on the same idea can be? I would never have thought of a sprig of springtime flowers, and it is just charming!! (Love the tiny basket too!)
