Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Spring Treats

I know this is waaaay past Easter so we're gonna call this post "spring" treats.

I found this cute and easy idea on Pinterest.  (where else)

I made these for a few neighbors and friends.

You'll need orange and green cardstock.  And some double sided tape.

Looks kinda Halloweenish on that placemat.

Fold the orange paper into a cone shape, tape, and cut off the excess on top.

Fill it with a nice little treat.

Fold the top down.

Tape it and cut a slit for the carrot top.

Add two or three of the green strips and insert in slit.

And there it is.  Cute used as place markers with names printed on the carrots
for Easter dinner.  Might be fun for a Beatrix Potter or garden themed party.
