Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Light Garland

I saw this cute idea on Pinterest quite a while ago and wanted to make one for myself.

So I did.

I sat in the nice cool basement and cut strips from scraps of
fabric I had left over from other projects.

Tied them to an LED light string I bought at the after Christmas sales.

And there you go.  Simple.  Easy. I think I'll attach it to my trailer's awning
the next time we go camping.

I need to find another project to work on down in the basement.  It's 102 degrees today!

That will be a fun place to put your lighted garland Sue! I know lots of people have festive lights on their awnings when they go camping so that's a great idea!

I love your lighted garland. The last time I was at a campground, bucket lights were popular. I like the garland much better.
Blessings,
