Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Meet Obie

A couple of weeks ago we got a phone call from Hearts to Paws, the rescue where we
found our little dog Max.  They said they wondered if we would foster a dog for a
few days.  We said sure, why not.

So we brought him home.

He and Max hit it off right away.  They play and play and wrestle and chase and
then they play some more.

They share toys and food and treats.

And after all their playing and wrestling they sleep like the
babies they are.  Both of them are about nine months old.

Which means they like to chew things like shoes and furniture.
And they sometimes forget where they're supposed to go to the bathroom.

But it looks like Obie is here to stay.
Can you see him smiling?

Whoever says you can't buy happiness has never adopted a dog.

Hi Mimi, oh you went and made me cry, tears of joy. Bless your heart, first for fostering Obie and then for giving him a forever home. They look so sweet together, you made my day, great story. Blessings Francine.

Oh Mimi ~ how wonderful that you have invited this little wonder into your home. We adopted our not so little Chessie and they are a challenge, but so much love is given ~ how can you not?
Those two look like they belong together ;-)
