Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Love the picture, and especially the sentiment. I keep worrying that my piles of gifts aren't big enough, but after today and a strong spirit felt in church and my home, I don't think the pile matters so much anymore. Merry Christmas, Mimi Sue!

Love the quote, and the nativity is simply lovely.

True, true story.
Hope I find it under the tree!
I've been tryin to have a grateful heart, trying to be more tenderhearted and compassionate, like my sweet husband, tryin to be more Christlike.
It's my great fear that I fall short.
I'm grateful for a new day, to begin again!
Dear Sue, Merry Christmas to each of you within the walls of your cottage this Christmas!
