Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. 9-1 1

We had quite the snowload on the wing of our shed.

Heavy, wet, icy snow.

The Mister decided he should do something about it.

I stood in the warmth of the house, my cell phone in my hand
and dialed 9 1.  Ready to push the other 1 when he fell off that icy,
slippery roof.

But he didn't, thank goodness.

Ha! That's awesome! So glad he didn't fall. The other night around midnight, I heard a big rumbling that sounded like thunder, and after checking throughout my house, realized it must have been somebody's porch or shed smashing under the weight. I still haven't figured out who, but glad it wasn't you. :)
