Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Primroses on the First Day of Spring

It's been such a cold, snowy, gray winter that these
little primroses are extra welcome this year.

They're a light that says spring at the end of our wintery tunnel.

They make me so happy.

Primrose is always so pretty for spring. Love your house colors and the red door. Our house has yellow walls throughout, but is white on the outside. We too have a red door - a Dutch door - and we love it.

When I walked into the grocery store the other day I was greeted by a big primrose display...it made me smile to see all of the cheerful colors. Holy carrots! Did you make your door decor? I collect carrots (I know, weird right?) and will be featuring them on a blog post soon. I'd love to have some big ones for my door!!!!

I love primroses, and they can be replanted outside to bloom again and again! I adore the stuffed carrots on the door!
