Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Living Room Makeover

Even though we're right in the middle of a handful of big projects,
I've started gathering things for a living room makeover.
Walls and a table need to be painted.

I'm looking for an area rug.
Curtains need to be sewn.
We're admiring crown molding designs.
We just got this chair back from the upholsterer.
I'm LOVING that fabric!

Black and cream buffalo check fabric for the love seat that's still
being worked on.
Looking forward to seeing how it all comes together.

Wowza! That chair is gorgeous and a great inspiration piece for your room planning! I am one of those nebby bloggers who make each picture larger in order to see all of the details and I must say, I love that lamp. It's staying I hope. I'm sure everything you and your husband do will be "Pin-worthy"! Can't wait to see what's next!

Oh I love that chair!!! I love re-doing the house and seem to do everything but paint. I hate painting and that is what really needs done the most :)
