Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Sunday Sayings

Love your quote each Sunday.

I was in the doctor's office waiting, waiting, waiting and listening to 2 women complain about their lives. I thought to myself that I was so fortunate that my life was so easy.

I went home and mentioned it to my husband and then we laughed. We had just spent the entire week with no shower due to our drain rusting out after 85 years, we were showering next door at our neighbor's house, all of our clothes were piled on the bed because the crawl space is under our closet, we slept on the window seat (me) or sofa (Steve) for 5 nights because they had to order parts. I was at the doctor for a cut that was not healing and will leave an ugly scar on my leg. But, as your quote said, it is how you carry it. We just let it all roll off of us and were thinking life is easy instead of complaining.

HAVE A GREAT WEEK!
