Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Wood and Fabric Pumpkin Crafting

I've been in the crafting mood lately so I've
been checking out blogs and Pinterest for some fun ideas.

One of the fun (and easy) projects I decided to make are
these wood and fabric pumpkins.

They were lots of fun to make.

I already had the wood from our bookcase project.

And some of the fabric.  But I did buy a couple of fat quarters.  I love to buy fat quarters.  Well, I love to buy fabric.

The leaves came from
an old arrangement from way back when that had seen better days.

(Recycle!!)

And the stems came from my backyard.

I think they turned out pretty cute.

They turned out very cute!!
Love the fabric that you chose too.

It's a great idea to buy fabric that way, just for little projects like that.

Warm wishes...
