Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Enamelware Display

I saw a cute little 3 tiered bowl thing at Everyday Treasures a few weeks ago and thought it looked like a fun fall accessory.   So, being the great copier that I am, I thought I should make one for myself.

I love enamelware and have a few pieces that I've collected over the years.
I found three bowls in graduated sizes and they worked perfectly for this project.

The posts in between the bowls are wooden candle sticks that I found at a garage sale but I've seen them at Hobby Lobby.

All of the pieces were glued together with epoxy.

I didn't use any screws but it would be easy enough to do if you wanted to make sure it held together.

Kinda chipped and a little rusty and I think perfect for a fall display.

Totally adorable! I have passed up a few enamel containers because I didn't know what to do with the smaller ones, I'll grab them next time!

I love it and isn't it great when you can remake things that you already have.
