Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Making Memories (and Aprons)

We have been having so much fun with the two sweetpeas and their mommy. We've been crafting and sewing and shopping. We've been cooking and eating and visiting fun places. We've been decorating and watching movies and wrapping presents. We've been talking and laughing and making some memories. This is what we made today. A cute apron for the mommy. They have to go home on Wednesday. Mimi will be so sad. Love you sweetpeas and Mommy.

Way cute apron! Was it an easy pattern for someone who, say, hates sewing because she's super imaptient and a slow worker and those two resons don't go hand in hand?
And where did you find such bright red fabric? I've only seen muted stuff in the stores.

Thanks for sharing that story about your daughter with me. What an honor to have played the Snow Queen. You must have been so proud watching her perform.
I loved the fact that we both took our daughters and granddaughters to the Nutcracker. It made me smile when I read your note. : )

That is so incredibly cute. I love it. It is vintage but fresh. The red and white never goes out of style or trend. At least in my opnion!
