Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Boutique Season

Here in Utah, in the fall, boutique season rolls around. There are boutiques in churches, in conference centers, and in back yards. One of the biggest is about a mile from Mimi's Cottage. The Mutton Hollow Country Barn Sale.
This wonderful barn is jam packed with mostly home made goodness. It even spills out into the yard.
They have several sales during the fall and one just before mother's day.

You can rent a booth and sell your wares, if you want to.

This sale has been going on for like 30 years. A great way for stay at home moms to make a little Christmas money. And a great place to buy a few adorable Christmas gifts.
What did I buy? I'll show you tomorrow.

I never made it over there. That's okay, I'll just save the money for the bigger house that will need more Barn stuff. ;)

Can't wait to see what you bought.
