Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Garden Flag

I decided to make another little garden flag last week. A flag bridge between summer and fall. It's just a rectangle with tabs and jumbo rick rack. Debbie Mumm fabric with sunflowers and bees.
It sits right by my front porch and waves hello in the breeze.

It's starting to get down into the 40's at night. It won't be long now. Happy First Day of Fall!

Oh how I love Fall! But please don't remind me about what is yet to come...my blood is still pretty thin from so many wonderful winters in California.

I love you new flag Mimi, that's a darling thing to do. Please, let this feeling in the air stay the same for a month at least.

I'm working on your prize today.

Happy Wednesday
