Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Thank you dear friend. My heart breaks as I remember that day, I saw it happen. It was a violation of a deep feeling in my sole. My county, this land of liberty and justice for all. It brings tears to my eyes, I love this country, it's so good to it's people.

Bad things do happen in this world. It doesn't make me hate, it makes me have more compasion. I understand where hate comes from and I try to not let it be apart of my life.

Thank you Mimi

This day is so important for us to never forget. May God wrap his loving arms around us and keep us from harm.

I can't imagine what the families of the victims go through all the time, but this time of year especially.

Beautiful image, beautiful reminder.
Thanks for sharing your peach cobbler recipe below. Also, congratulations on the new hi-speed laptop...ah, the luxury. : )
And thanks so much for getting a hold of Janis for me. When her paperdoll arrives, you'll have to see how she looks in person. However, I WON'T be making anymore...EVER...she took hours and hours. Hee-hee! Live and learn.
Have a great weekend,
